I always get to the beginning of the year and think this will be the year I finally get out and get a life. A week later I'm still doing nothing during the week and on weekends. Not this year. I am determined to make this the best year ever.
I picked up a Project Life planner set last weekend and have been working on it the last 8 days. I made it past the first week. Yay progress!
So this blog was created to jumpstart my writing and possibly get me to post some of my planner pages to make it all seem worth it. Because it *is* worth it.
Also planning to finally officially elope this year. The planner well be helping with that as well. Definitely don't want to forget anything on the most important day of my life.
So more about me. I'm 37 (yes I think of Clerks as well every time I say it). I live in Texas and aside from the terrible heat in the summer it's really not that bad. But I would love to move on to another state. The dream is to be somewhere with seasons.
Beyond that I love the color pink, coffee, Mexican food and taking time every day to do something creative.
I'm also going to start 30 days of Lists in April. I don't know much about it yet but intend to do my homework in the coming weeks. Should be a great way to spark more creativity and we could all use that.
That's my life right now (or lack thereof). As the blog name says I intend to get a life this year. Just watch me.
